Bible Text: John 4:1-42 NLT How many times do you wish you could go back in time and do somethings differently? How many with a show of hands can honestly say that if you could change some things from your past or even present you would do that? Maybe it was a relationship you should have been out of a long time ago, maybe you had not business being with her or with him. Maybe it was taking better care of yourself and you neglected to eat right and exercise and now you are paying the price. Maybe you wish you could turn back to clock and wished you had gone to college or taken school more seriously. Maybe you wish you could have been kinder, softer, gentler, more understanding and not said the things you did. Maybe you wish you could take back the time you did that thing that had you end up in jail or in court. Has anyone been there? I sure have. Remember, that Jesus doesn’t point out our sin to shame us but to redeem us. The woman at the well was at the well alone during the hottest time of the day to avoid the stares and whispers. She was embarrassed and ashamed of her life choices. Jesus, the Living Water was about to change her life, forever. Living Water, Forever Changed.
